This can be used to prevent the cutting edge from moving in the wrong direction which can damage the board and tool. The best-known diode is the light-emitting diode (LED) commonly used for soft light emission.

  •  7. Sensor

These are devices that generate electrical signals corresponding to an additional degree of incidental sensing as environmental changes are then routed directly to opposing components inside the circuit board.
